New Lighting system for Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists

We [the RCOG] were looking for a lighting solution to illuminate a stage, in a large hall, which we use for College conferences and external lettings. My technical requirements were relatively simple. However we particularly needed a good-value solution that could be installed relatively quickly, so the hall was not out of action for too long (a minimal loss of revenue).

I invited a number of specialist lighting companies in for a site-visit to provide quotes, School Stage being one of them. All of the companies, with the exception of School Stage over-spec’d the job and provided quotes for expensive solutions. Some were twice as complex and twice as expensive as School Stage’s quote. I got the feeling that most only wanted high-value jobs. School Stage were the only company that quoted for a solution which EXACTLY matched my requirements and most importantly matched my budget. Therefore they got the job.

I was impressed with the speed of the installation and professionalism of the staff. Our Nuffield Hall is a traditional style room, with attractive décor, but the installation was sensitively done. We did have an issue with one of the LED units a few months after the installation, but this was quickly replaced without hesitation. I would definitely recommend School Stage, especially if price is important to you. I would not hesitate to use them again and probably will at some time in the future.
